Scholarships
IIDA Southern California believes in the advancement of education through annual scholarship and student awards. Our scholarship program is limited to IIDA student members who pursue education in the field of Interior Design and show potential to advance the Interior Design profession.

We are excited to announce that the IIDA Southern California Chapter will be offering three scholarships totaling $15,000 in recognition of outstanding student work prepared during the 2012-13 academic year. This includes the opportunity for one exemplary student to receive the prestigious Stephanie Tarr Scholarship, valued at $5000.

We invite you to participate in this competition exclusive to IIDA, which provides all students with great industry exposure and networking opportunities.

The scholarship recipients will also receive a sponsored ticket to the 2013 Calibre Awards cocktail reception, dinner and awards program at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, where they will be celebrated with on-stage award recognition.

Student Affairs
Our Student Affairs leaders create and develop programs that promote education, knowledge sharing and university-level student representation for IIDA Southern California Chapter. In addition to quarterly student-focused events, our Chapter holds an annual IIDA Southern California Student Scholarship Competition, and awards over $20,000 to deserving design students from universities and colleges in the our region. Our Student Affairs leaders partner with professors and students in the various higher education programs throughout the region.  Student Affairs has a supportive presence during the school year, often attending program functions, or participating as guest speakers, representing IIDA.  The IIDA Vice President of Student Affairs Board member and leadership team is included in all strategic decisions affecting membership, events, event publications, both hard copy and web-based, and awards for our students.
